The Conformists are an “experimental punk band” (according to their handwritten press kit) from across the river.
They reside in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
Stylistically, their music is heavily deconstructionist, in the same vein as U.S. Maple, Yowie (who currently shares their drummer), or even Australia’s “My Disco.” They typically employ long passages of repetition peppered with nuances, sometimes purposely making use of rhythms that make it sound as if they are skipping beats. The vocal style varies greatly, sometimes yelling, speaking regularly, singing monotone, or even whispering.

Zeus! is a guitar/drums duo from Italy & you should listen to them if you like fast & crazy music that reminds me of The Locust & Lightning Bolt.
Two punk icons of the 80’s make an album together and it ends up being called “The Sky Is Falling and I Want My Mommy“…
Not a fan of Fucked Up recent evolution but damn this track is still a better stimulant than caffeine.
I think I used to enjoy listening to this album a lot more than I enjoy it at the moment, thank you scumbag brain. Still if you like hardcore with a female singer, join the hunt.
